Refund Policy
Overview
Courses are not physical products therefore cannot be returned. Students who wish to drop out must do so in writing via e-mail [support@esmeraldaacademy.com], at least 14 days prior to the first scheduled class to qualify for a refund.
Refunds are calculated based on the date the request is received:
- 14 days or more before the course start date, a refund may be granted minus an Administrative fee of US$150 plus any transaction fees incurred, including but not limited to merchant processing fees.
- Within 13 days before the start date of the course, a refund may be granted minus a cancellation fee equivalent to one (1) week of classes, an Administrative fee of US$150 plus any transaction fees incurred, including but not limited to merchant processing fees.
- On or after the start date of the course: there is no refund available.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Please note that it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If 3 weeks or more have passed by and you still have not received the refund, please contact us.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your purchase. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order sent to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
